FAQ

What is the full price?

Our Mini Multigenerational Goldendoodle puppies are priced at $3,500 for pet only homes, which includes a non-refundable $500 reservation fee to hold your spot.

What exactly does Multigenerational Goldendoodle mean?

A Multigenerational (or Multi-gen) Goldendoodle means that both parents are Goldendoodles, rather than a purebred Golden Retriever crossed with a purebred Poodle. By breeding multi-gen lines, we can precisely select for the very best traits over multiple generations. This gives us much greater control over coat quality, low-shedding qualities, and that highly sought-after blocky, "teddy-bear" body structure.

What are the average adult size, coat type, and weight expectations?

Our Mini Multigenerational Goldendoodles typically mature to weigh between 20 and 35 pounds. While we breed for consistency, exact adult weights and coat textures can vary slightly within a single litter based on genetics. We focus on producing the darker red colors and straight and wavy coats.

Are your Goldendoodles completely hypoallergenic and non-shedding?

While no dog is 100% hypoallergenic, our Multigenerational lines are specifically bred to be as low shedding and allergy friendly as possible. We actively select parents with strong genetics for furnishings (the facial hair that gives them the doodle look) and low dander coats. If a member of your household has severe dog allergies, please let us know on your application so we can help guide you toward the puppy with the most compatible coat type.

How do you match puppies with their forever families?

To ensure a lifetime of success, we do not allow selections based on looks or coat color alone. At 6 weeks old, we perform comprehensive BAB temperament evaluations on the entire litter to assess confidence, assertiveness, and energy levels. We then use these detailed personality profiles alongside your initial application preferences to match the right puppy to the right family dynamic, ensuring a perfect fit for your lifestyle. We HELP you choose but you make the final desision.

What is the ptocces of getting a puppy?

We have a six-step process, beginning with an application and a $500 non-refundable deposit to secure a spot on the waitlist. Puppies are selected at six weeks based on temperament testing and the waitlist order, followed by final contracts and pickup at eight weeks

What is Spay Secure, and what are my responsibilities regarding the spay/neuter contract?

All Blissful Doodles puppies are sold strictly to pet only homes, and breeding rights are not permitted under any circumstances. To protect our lines and prevent accidental breeding, we partner with Spay Secure, a third party contract management service. As part of your puppy agreement, you are legally required to have your puppy spayed or neutered by an appropriate, veterinarian approved age, and Spay Secure will handle the collection of your official veterinary verification.

What do I need to buy before bringing my puppy home?

We want to make your puppy’s transition into your home as seamless as possible! We provide a curated, recommended puppy supply list to all approved families prior to pickup day. This includes the exact life stage food they are currently eating, our favorite crates, grooming tools tailored to their coat type, and specific safe chew toys that keep young puppies happily occupied

How does your Guardian Home Program work, and how can local families apply?

To ensure every one of our breeding dogs lives a pampered life as a cherished family pet rather than in a kennel environment, we utilize a Guardian Home Program. Local families receive a top-tier puppy for free, and in exchange, they agree to let the dog participate in our breeding program for a set number of litters. Applicants must live within a strict 40-minute radius of Brush Prairie, Washington, have a securely fenced yard, and agree to specific socialization and safety guidelines. You can read the full program requirements and apply on our Guardian Home page.

Will my puppy's vibrant red coat fade as they get older? What is the "fading gene"?

Most red Goldendoodles carry a natural "fading gene" inherited from their Poodle ancestry, which causes their deep mahogany puppy coat to gradually lighten as they mature. Between six months and two years of age, this genetic trait typically clears the coat into a beautiful shade of apricot, honey, or soft cream. While we intentionally select parent dogs who retain strong color intensity, we always encourage families to choose their puppy based on health and temperament rather than a guaranteed adult coat shade.
