Week 1-2
Where the journey begins
The puppies spend their first two weeks sleeping and growing in our living room whelping area, staying close to mom and the rhythms of our daily household. During this crucial window, we introduce Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS). These gentle, daily exercises stimulate their neurological systems, supporting cardiovascular health, stress tolerance, and a strong immune system from day one."
Week 3
Eyes wide open, hearts ready.
As eyes and ears begin to open, the nursery transforms. We introduce transitional sounds and varied textures to their environment. This week, we begin the Badass Breeder (BAB) curriculum, guiding them through gentle handling and sensory exercises to build early confidence as they take their first wobbly steps.
Week 4
Curiosity takes the lead.
Puppies are officially on the move! This week, we introduce their very first, potty boundary. Because dogs naturally want to keep their sleeping area clean, we utilize their instincts to lay the foundation for early potty training. We also introduce novel items and puzzle toys to encourage problem-solving and curiosity.
Week 5
Building brave puppies.
Play is serious business! We expand their play area, we focus heavily on socialization and nerve strength, introducing them to new sights, distinct sounds, that teach them how to bounce back quickly from fear.
Week 6
The great outdoors & crate introduction.
We officially introduce crate training foundations this week, making the crate a happy, safe, and rewarding place to rest with open door familiarization. Weather permitting, we also expand our potty training to the outdoors, helping them associate fresh air and grass with potty time. They are becoming incredibly resilient, balanced little thinkers!
Week 7
Health checks & final evaluations.
A busy and vital week in the nursery! Our puppies undergo their official veterinary health check and first vaccinations. We also conduct our comprehensive BAB puppy temperament evaluations. This allows us to assess each puppy’s unique traits, like confidence, energy, and assertiveness to help you find the perfect match for your lifestyle."
Week 8
From our arms to yours.
Go-home week! Your puppy leaves our nursery crate-conditioned, well-started on potty concepts, and equipped with a foundation of emotional resilience. They are ready to take everything they learned in our home and bring a lifetime of joy to yours. Adventure awaits!
